I WOULD LIKE YOU TO PICK A THOUGHT.
Whether your thought is of a feeling of love, upset, hurt, joy, or abandonment or possibly sexual arousal, you just changed your body. You changed you at that moment of thought. Thoughts have measurable effects. As you read this page, your body is undergoing many changes. Triggered by your thought..... your pancreas and adrenal glands are secreting a few hormones. Like a light switch flipping, many areas of your brain surged with increased electrical activity, releasing a host of neurochemicals too numerous to name. Your spleen and thymus gland sent a message to your immune system to make some adjustments. Several gastric juices began to flow. Your liver began processing enzymes. Your heart rate fluctuated, your lungs changed their stroke volume,
and the blood flow to your hands/feet altered.
All this from just thinking one thought.
You and your thoughts are very powerful.

Once a thought happens in the brain, the body reacts to intentional AND unintentional thinking. It unfolds behind the scenes of our awareness.
Do you realize how much impact and extensive the effects of conscious or unconscious thinking can be?

Can we accept that the long-term effects of our habitual thinking just might be the cause of how our body moves to a state of imbalance, or what we call disease?

Is it likely, moment by moment, that we train our body to be unhealthy by our repeated thoughts and reactions?
